Max Schrock Gets The Call Saturday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds infielder Max Schrock has been called up prior to Saturday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, according to Mark Sheldon of MLB.com. He will take the roster spot of R.J. Alaniz who was placed on the IL with a calf strain. During Schrock's brief career, he has slashed .234/.250/.468 with two home runs in 23 games. He will most likely be used in a utility role with no clear opening in the infield. Fantasy managers can ignore this move as Schrock should be left on the waiver wire unless he surprises everyone and finds himself an everyday job.
