6 years agoHouston Astros catcher Max Stassi went 2-for-4 with three RBI as the Astros beat the Mariners 8-3. For Stassi, it was his first multi-RBI game since July 7 and only has five RBI over his last 54 at-bats. After a strong start to the season, Stassi has struggled with consistency at the plate and had only two hits over his last 19 at-bats coming into the game. The injury to catcher Brian McCann opened the door for more playing time but Stassi has been unable to cash in. The Astros trot out a highly potent lineup but the catching position certainly is the weak link offensively right now. Stassi hopes to build upon this performance moving forward but is not fantasy viable at this time.--Joey C - RotoBaller
