7 years agoHouston Astros catcher Max Stassi is off to a promising start, hitting .400 through his first 15 at-bats with five runs driven in. Veteran Brian McCann is also playing well but Stassi is earning the confidence of the coaching staff as the other half of the Houston catching timeshare. McCann is also at the stage of his career where he no longer can be counted on to carry the bulk of the catching duties and Evan Gattis is mostly deployed as a designated hitter. This opens the door for Stassi to continue to see opportunities and consistency will be the key to his fantasy value in the coming weeks.--Joey C - RotoBaller
