Max Stassi Held Hitless Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Max Stassi didn't do much in his three plate appearances on Saturday, going 0-for-2 with a hit by pitch. Stassi is now 4-for-22 with one home run in his last six games. Still, it's been a nice offensive season for the 30-year-old backstop, who has produced a .290/.367/.489 slash line with seven home runs, 17 RBI and 27 runs in 42 games after his short but successful 2020. With Kurt Suzuki backing him up, he's in no danger of losing the starting catcher job, and fantasy managers should count on him to get back on track soon.
