7 years agoHouston Astros catcher Max Stassi continues to make the most of his spot-start opportunities and is hitting .357 through 28 at-bats in the month of May. He has racked up four doubles, one home run and is slugging .607 during this span. Stassi will continue to split time with veteran Brian McCann, but Stassi is proving to be trustworthy when given the chance. Over his last six starts, Stassi is 9-for-21 (.428) with one home run, four doubles and four runs batted in. Stassi does not receive enough at-bats currently to garner fantasy consideration but should be under consideration at some point this season if he gets a longer look.--Joey C - RotoBaller
