3 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Max Stassi isn't starting for the team on Wednesday in a matchup against the Texas Rangers and left-handed starter Kolby Allard. Stassi has provided both the Angels and fantasy managers with some strong production in 2021, batting .307 with a .383 on-base percentage and 10 home runs in 183 plate appearances for Joe Maddon's club. However, Stassi won't start against Allard. Instead, it's Kurt Suzuki who will start behind the plate and bat seventh. The veteran is hitting .212 with a .288 on-base percentage and three home runs in 165 plate appearances this season.
