3 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman had a quiet Week 1 versus the Cleveland Browns. The speedy receiver was only targeted three times and hauled in all those targets for 19 yards. Hardman won the No. 2 job over Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle and is expected to fill the void of Sammy Watkins this year. Throughout his career, Hardman has shown flashes, but not consistency. As part of an explosive and high scoring offense, Hardman remains worth rostering, but he is best served as a flex option in deeper leagues and is also matchup dependent. Hardman still has to compete with wide receiver Tyreek Hill, tight end Travis Kelce and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire for touches and remains a shaky play in most weeks. Hardman will square off against a banged up Baltimore Ravens defense in Week 2 and remains a risky option.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
