Mecole Hardman Injures Hamstring At OTAs
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (hamstring) tweaked his hamstring in Wednesday's organized team activities and isn't taking part on Thursday, according to head coach Andy Reid. The Chiefs don't sound very concerned with Hardman's injury, so it shouldn't have any impact on his participation for training camp this summer. The 24-year-old is heading into the fourth and final year of his rookie deal, and with Tyreek Hill now playing for the Miami Dolphins, and he's expected to have a starting role alongside JuJu Smith-Schuster in KC's explosive offense in 2022. The former second-round pick has been in the shadow of Hill and tight end Travis Kelce in his three NFL seasons, although he had career-highs with 59 catches and 693 yards in 17 games (eight starts) in 2021.
