Mecole Hardman Leaves On Cart Wednesday

2 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman (leg) was injured in training camp practice on Wednesday and left on a cart. Hardman appeared to have injured his left leg and was in a bit of pain, but we won't know the exact severity of his injury until the Chiefs evaluate Hardman further. With Tyreek Hill now in Miami, Hardman is expected to have a bigger role in the offense after catching 59 of his 83 targets for 693 yards and two touchdowns in 17 regular season games (eight starts) in 2021. If he's forced to miss extended time with this injury, it will mean more targets for the likes of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, rookie Skyy Moore and veteran Josh Gordon.
