6 years agoCleveland Indians veteran outfielder Melky Cabrera has decided to become a free agent. Cabrera was being sent down to Triple-A Columbus for the foreseeable future and asked the Indians to release him. Cabrera has had a dismal 2018 season as he is carrying a .207 batting average to go along with zero home runs and 11 RBI through 66 plate appearances. Even if Cabrera manages to get a contract from another team he is not a viable fantasy option at this stage of his career.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
