Melvin Gordon A Strong RB1 In Week 2
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon racked up 166 all-purpose yards on 24 total touches against the Chiefs in Week 1. He was heavily involved in the passing game, catching nine passes on a team-high 13 targets, which is an incredibly encouraging sign for his fantasy owners going forward. The Chargers spent most of the game playing catch-up, yet their workhorse back remained a focal point of the offense throughout. In Week 2, Gordon will get to face a Bills defense one week removed from a humiliating loss to the Ravens. Combined with his efficiency and workload, this weak matchup makes Gordon a strong candidate to finish as the highest-scoring running back in fantasy for Week 2.
