Melvin Gordon Could Be In Line For Big Performance

5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon could be in line for a big performance against the Chicago Bears this week. Gordon hasn't performed well since his return from his early-season holdout, due in part to the struggles of the offensive line, but this game offers a get-right opportunity. The Chargers are set to welcome back their left tackle Russell Okung (heart), which should help get the team back on track with protection. The Chicago Bears have given up an average of 28.9 points to the position, with the majority of that production coming since defensive tackle Akiem Hicks hit the injured reserve. Gordon is a solid RB2 this week but could end being an RB1 with his touchdown upside.--Richard King - RotoBaller
