4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III expects competition with Phillip Lindsay at the position during training camp. While both men will likely get some snaps out of the backfield, at least initially, there is a chance that one will surpass the other as the team's workhorse as the season progresses. Gordon, who recently signed a two-year, $16 million deal, has seemingly been hyper-focused on his conditioning during the offseason. The 27-year-old racked up 4,240 yards and 36 touchdowns on the ground during his tenure with the Chargers. He also added 224 catches for 11 additional scores as a receiver. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect production beyond his ADP, especially early in the year. However, those who opt to roll the dice on Gordon could also be pleasantly surprised with his output, making him an adequate stash for the 2020 campaign.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
