3 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III (hip, shoulder) said "I feel like I'll be able to go" on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Gordon said he was close to playing last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, but the decision was made to hold him out for a week. The 28-year-old was limited on Wednesday and is scheduled for another limited session on Thursday, so he appears to be on track for a return in Week 14 against the Detroit Lions. It will be interesting to see how Denver approaches their backfield this Sunday if Gordon returns, as rookie Javonte Williams was awesome in his first career start and went for over 100 rushing yards in the loss to KC. If there's a chance that Gordon takes more of a back seat to Williams, he'll be more in the RB3/flex picture, albeit in a great matchup against the one-win Lions.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
