2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III might be the most hated player in fantasy football, at least by managers that have Javonte Williams rostered. The two had exactly 203 carries as they split the backfield right down the middle in 2021, which was a big headache for fantasy managers. Heading into Week 1 on Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks, Williams is expected to be more of the lead back. However, there have also been reports that head coach Nathaniel Hackett wants to "ride the hot hand." The Seahawks run defense was leaky last year, with Williams likely getting the first crack to be the hot hand in games this year, Gordon will be on the RB3/4 borderline with far less upside than he had in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
