Melvin Gordon III - Week 18 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III (hip, thumb) practiced in full on Friday and has been cleared to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. Gordon was removed from the final injury report. Although he had four fewer carries than rookie Javonte Williams in the Week 17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, Gordon was more productive with his touches. The 28-year-old is a low-end RB2, at best, in fantasy with another split backfield coming to close out the season. Gordon does have nine total touchdowns (seven rushing, two receiving), but his ceiling is capped with Williams in the fold, and Denver's offense has been even more inconsistent with quarterback Drew Lock starting.
