Melvin Gordon Scores First Rushing Touchdown Against Chicago

4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon scored his first rushing touchdown of the season against the Chicago Bears. Gordon otherwise struggled in the game, rushing the ball eight times for 31 yards as well as catching two passes for three yards. Gordon has struggled to make an impact since returning from his holdout at the start of the season. While the offense has struggled to have big plays this season, they have been able to move the ball. Gordon will continue to be a touchdown threat as the team's red-zone weapon, but his outlook will be limited in the offense. Coming into Week 9, Gordon will look to get back on track against the Green Bay Packers who have struggled to stop running backs this season.--Richard King - RotoBaller
