Melvin Ingram Signs With Dolphins
3 years agoFree-agent defensive end Melvin Ingram signed an undisclosed one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night, according to a source. The three-time Pro Bowler has 51 career sacks, 74 tackles for loss and 119 quarterback hits. The 33-year-old figures to rotate with Emmanuel Ogbah and Jaelan Phillips in Miami. Ingram spent last year with the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers, combining for 25 tackles (12 solo), four tackles for loss, 11 QB hits, two sacks and a forced fumble in 15 games (seven starts). He was originally a first-round selection (18th overall) by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2012 out of South Carolina.
