4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly allowed three runs on five hits and one walk over five innings of work on Wednesday against the Reds. It was his best outing since his first start on April 2, when he allowed three runs over four innings against the Padres. And that right there about says it all, as Kelly this year has allowed 19 runs — 18 earned — with 13 strikeouts in 21 innings pitched.
