3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly struck out six batters in six innings of work on Wednesday night, as he earned a quality start but did not factor into the decision in a 5-4 loss to the Giants. Kelly allowed just two runs on five hits, as he recorded his third straight quality start while lowering his ERA to 4.84 on the season. Kelly got off to a rough start this year, but he's looked much better over his last five starts with a 3.23 ERA, 1.239 WHIP and 33 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings of work over that span. Going forward, consider Kelly a solid streaming option in most formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
