2 years agoNew York Mets skipper Buck Showalter said he's very confident that infielder Jeff McNeil (hamstring) will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Houston Astros after an off day on Monday. McNeil will miss his fifth straight game on Sunday against the Miami Marlins due to right hamstring tightness, but it sounds like fantasy managers will have him back next week. The 30-year-old has been quite useful this year, as he's hitting .327/.386/.465 with an .850 OPS, four home runs, 33 RBI, 33 runs scored and two stolen bases in 249 plate appearances over 65 games played. Luis Guillorme will man the keystone yet again on Sunday and hit eighth against Marlins left-hander Daniel Castano.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
