Jose Lobaton And Thomas Nido To Continue To Share Catching Duties
7 years agoWhen both Travis d'Arnaud and Kevin Plawecki went down with injuries, multiple reports stated that the Mets were looking to both the free agent and trade market for a replacement. However, according to the Athletics's Ken Rosenthal, with Plawecki expected back in three-to-four weeks, New York plans on sticking with Jose Lobaton and Thomas Nido behind the plate. Lobaton will likely see more starts than Nido, however, with just a .218 career batting average, he is not worth an add in most fantasy leagues.
