7 years agoThe New York Mets are not discussing free-agent starting pitcher Bartolo Colon, according to at least two members of the team's front office. “You never know, things could change, but it’s not something I see happening,” one source said. “It’s not a name I’ve been hearing.” Colon pitched three seasons for the Mets and would be interested in finishing his career with them. The veteran right-hander needs just six more wins to reach 246 total victories in his career, which would put him one win above Dennis Martinez for most for a Latin-American born player. In 28 starts for the Braves and Twins in 2017, Colon went 7-14 with a 6.48 ERA, so he won't be a fantasy option even if a team takes one last shot on him in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
