6 years agoWe told you earlier that the New York Mets were expected to activate third baseman Todd Frazier (hamstring) and reliever Anthony Swarzak (oblique) on Tuesday, and now it’s official. Both will be active and available for Tuesday night’s series opener against the Baltimore Orioles. Frazier has been out for roughly a month due to a left hamstring strain, while Swarzak missed a little more than two months with a left oblique strain. Both will be welcomed reinforcements for the Amazins, who could desperately use some help both at the plate and out of the bullpen. There’s no reason to shy away from either if you’ve stashed them for this long.--John Smith
