Mets Reach One-Year Deal With Kevin Pillar
4 years agoThe New York Mets reached a one-year deal with outfielder Kevin Pillar on Monday. Pillar, much like Albert Almora, will likely serve in a fourth outfielder/defensive replacement role for the Mets in 2021. Notably, Pillar is coming off of a solid 2020 season in which he posted a .288/.336/.462 slash line with six home runs, and 26 RBI in 54 games for the Rockies and Red Sox. Notwithstanding, given the depth of the Mets' outfield, Pillar should be largely ignored in most fantasy formats heading into the 2021 season.
