3 years agoAccording to Jon Heyman, the New York Mets have expressed interest in a deal for Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier. The 29-year-old All-Star is slashing .326/.396/.461 over 85 games with four home runs and 28 RBI. If the Mets made a deal for Frazier, that would mean a shift over to third base for Jeff McNeil, sending J.D. Davis (finger) who is currently on the injured list, to the bench, unless Davis was part of a package going back to Pittsburgh. The addition of Frazier to the top of the Mets lineup, hitting behind Brandon Nimmo, would certainly boost the Mets offense and Frazier's fantasy appeal, if a deal was reached between both teams.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
