3 years agoThe New York Mets have agreed to a one-year major-league contract with outfielder Nick Plummer, according to MLB.com. Plummer, 25, has no big-league experience but slashed .280/.415/.479 with 15 HRs and 13 SBs across 117 games in 2021, split between Double and Triple-A with the St. Louis Cardinals organization. The former first-round pick back in 2015 became a free agent after the Cardinals didn't add him to their 40-man roster. The move doesn't have much fantasy impact, as Plummer is more of a depth option in the outfield. If the Mets struggle with outfield injuries, he could be a deep league, mid-season pick-up option.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
