5 years agoIt was the special teams of the Miami Dolphins Defense that sealed another defeat for the winless team in Week 7, a week after the Dolphins were just a two-point conversion away from beating the Washington Redskins. After quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick closed Buffalo's lead to 24-21 with an 11-yard touchdown run with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Dolphins ensuing onside kick ended in disaster. With the attempt bouncing high in the air, Micah Hyde snatched the ball at the high point and proceeded to run 45 yards for the score, sealing a 31-21 loss for Miami and moving the Dolphins one step closer to the number-one pick in next year's draft. Having only scored a total of five points on the year, there wasn't a reason to start the Miami defense this week and there won't be any reasons to start them in Week 8 when they go on the road to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
