6 years agoThe Miami Dolphins named either Kenyan Drake or Frank Gore as their starting running backs. Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald was specific in that either one of them could be the starter. It's hard to read the situation based on what the coaches and reporters are saying, but based on preseason usage and production it would seem that Drake has the upper hand in this battle. If the Dolphins go with a hot hand approach one would have to think that favors Drake, who appears to be the more talented back at this point in time. Both face a tough matchup week one against the Tennessee Titans, who had the fourth best rush defense last season. Drake is an RB2 option, while Gore is probably best left on the bench this week.--Elliott Baas - RotoBaller
