7 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley (foot) wasn't in the lineup on Thursday after fouling a ball off the top of his left foot in the third inning on Wednesday. "He's OK," said manager Terry Francona. "He hit the ball off the top of his foot, but finished the game OK. Then you get on a flight (to Toronto) and it got stiff. So we'll give him tonight to let the trainers do their stuff. He'll be fine." There's a good chance that Brantley is back in the lineup on Friday. He has hit .303 (152-for-501) with 14 home runs, 70 RBI and 10 steals in 125 games in 2018 and remains valuable in all leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
