3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley (knee) is progressing slowly in his attempt to return from a knee injury. "He's progressing slowly," said manager Dusty Baker. "He was progressing rapidly, but he's kind of hit a lull in the action. So it's going to take a little bit longer than we thought or we had hoped." The 34-year-old has been sidelined since September 12 with a knee issue and remains day-to-day. Brantley is eligible to come off the injured list, but it's unclear exactly when he will be ready to return.
