Michael Brantley Rejoins Lineup Thursday After Absence
4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley is back among the starting nine for Thursday's contest versus the D-backs and right-hander Zac Gallen. Brantley has been dealing with a quad ailment and will return to the lineup as the designated hitter Thursday, a role that he is reprising for the fifth time this season. He has collected a hit in each of the first eight games that he has started this season, making him an excellent cash play in DFS, especially when considering his price tag. Brantley’s .489 wOBA ranks in the top three percent of the league, while his .438 average and .514 on-base percentage lead the Majors. In short, when healthy, Brantley should be rostered in all season-long formats.
