4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley (hamstring) has been activated off the injured list and will start Tuesday against the Royals. Brantley is hitting sixth but manager Dusty Baker told reporters that he wanted to get the veteran some at-bats before resuming his usual place in the heart of the order. The 34-year-old has not played since May 23 and was slashing .305/.346/.455 with three home runs, 14 doubles, 15 runs batted in and 25 run scored through 167 at-bats at the time. Brantley can safely be inserted back into fantasy lineups across the board even if it takes him a few days to find a rhythm at the plate.--Joey C - RotoBaller
