7 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley (ankle) successfully worked his way through outfield drills on Thursday. Manager Terry Francona told reporters that Brantley was "doing terrific." Brantley was also able to get a pair of at-bats in a minor league game on Wednesday. Brantley comes with nice upside, but the surgery he underwent to strengthen ligaments in his ankle makes him a significant injury risk as well. There has not yet been word about whether or not Brantley will be ready for Opening Day. He should be drafted in most formats, but with a backup plan readily in place.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
