4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley (quad) is expected to DH in the team's series finale versus the Diamondbacks on Thursday. Manager Dusty Baker initially wanted to keep the veteran out until Friday, but apparently changed his mind after the club's 14-7 loss on Wednesday. Brantley has missed the last two games with a quad injury after starting the season off hitting .438 with a homer, eight runs, and six RBI. Expect Brantley to slide back into the meat and potatoes of the Astros order, where he'll continue to rack up counting stats and a high batting average for the remainder of the season.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
