2 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter saw his fantasy stock drop precipitously when the Jets used their second-round pick on three-down back Breece Hall. Carter was set to go into the season as the Jets RB1, but he will now be part of a timeshare, at best, and a change-of-pace/backup option at worst. At least to start the season, though, Hall and Carter seem likely to work some kind of timeshare, with many Jets writers predicting a close to even split. That limits the upside of both RBs and creates a concerning floor outside of very deep leagues. Carter can be seen as an RB3/4 option for now, but that could quickly drop if Hall plays well to start his career.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
