Michael Carter Suffers Concussion In Week 17
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter (concussion) did not return to Sunday's narrow loss to the Buccaneers. The rookie sustained a concussion, a diagnosis confirmed by head coach Robert Saleh. Before his premature departure, he appeared to be heading toward a big day, as evident by a massive 55-yard carry he had in the first half. Nonetheless, an update should come soon. However, if he can't go for the season finale against the Buffalo Bills, Austin Walter, who had 49 yards off 14 carries, and Ty Johnson, who had a touchdown, could split carries. Tevin Coleman could also be involved, although he currently sits on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
