Michael Carter "The Heartbeat" Of Jets Offense

2 years agoNew York Jets offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur called running back Michael Carter "the heartbeat of our offense." It's not exactly what you want to hear if you have a lot of fantasy football shares of rookie Breece Hall, who is fully expected to take over the lead-back role in New York in 2022 sooner than later. But until that actually happens, Carter will be the Jets' lead back for a Week 1 meeting with the Baltimore Ravens. Carter has three-down abilities and could have a big role this Sunday with quarterback Joe Flacco under center. The ceiling isn't very high, but the 23-year-old is firmly in play as an RB3/flex, especially in PPR leagues, this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
