Michael Carter To Have Significant Role In His Return
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter (ankle) will have a significant role in his return to the lineup in Week 15, according to head coach Robert Saleh. The rookie has been sidelined since Week 12 with an ankle injury, right after he started to insert himself into the weekly RB2 discussion. Carter's involvement in the passing game makes him a borderline must-start in PPR formats, as we saw a span of 25 targets in just two games from Week 7 to Week 8. In his last meeting with the Dolphins, he was able to generate 63 rushing yards on just nine carries, so the former North Carolina product should be able to provide fantasy managers with lower-end RB2 or high-end flex numbers in this one. Ty Johnson gets a significant downgrade with Carter and Tevin Coleman (concussion) returning to action.
