2 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter worked as the clear RB1 ahead of rookie Breece Hall in a Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Carter ran the ball 10 times for 60 yards and was targeted nine times, catching seven passes for 40 more yards. Carter looked good for most of the game and was clearly playing ahead of Hall, but an ugly sure touchdown dropped in the fourth quarter seemed to open the door for the rookie Hall to take over the main passing game role, at least. Carter should continue to have a decent floor each week, but his ceiling will remain limited by sharing the backfield.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
