Michael Carter Worth Stashing, Not Starting Versus Panthers
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Michael Carter will make his NFL debut against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. However, he'll likely be stuck in a three-back committee to open the season. Veteran back Tevin Coleman was named the lead back, while Ty Johnson figures to do most of the receiving work. It'll be interesting to see how the Jets plan to work Carter into the mix. The Panthers were middle of the road last season when it came to stopping running backs. Carter has the most upside out of the three backs this season. However, he probably won't be worth starting in Week 1. Fantasy managers should stash him and hope he earns a significant role later in the season.
