4 years agoIn a close-knit welterweight division, this main event will determine which man will get a catapult shot to a top-five standing. Michael Chiesa (17-4) obviously knew this stepping into Wednesday's main event with Neil Magny. Chiesa dominated the five rounds of action, taking the unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46.) Though Chiesa only netted 24 significant strikes in 25 minutes of action, he collected 93 total strikes. He also had a massive amount of control time, tallying 15:21 compared to Magny's 2:15.
