7 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto is back in the lineup for Wednesday’s series finale with the Washington Nationals. Conforto sat on Tuesday, as he so often does, against left-handed starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez. In a limited sample size against Wednesday’s starting pitcher Tanner Roark, Conforto is hitting .333 with one home run. After a hot start upon his return from injury, Conforto has cooled off a bit but overall has been solid by slashing .205/.429/.438 with one long ball, eight runs scored and three RBI across 42 plate appearances. So long as he’s playing, he needs to be in your fantasy lineup, as he could break out at any moment.--John Smith
