3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto went 2-for-6 with a double and RBI in the Mets 12 inning 6-2 win over the Giants on Wednesday. Conforto has now reached base safely over his last 17 games and is slashing .304/.391/.518 with two home runs, six doubles, and six RBI over that timeframe. Conforto appears to finally be awakening from a season-long slumber. Fantasy managers may wish to reinsert Conforto into lineups while this streak lasts. If he has been dropped, fantasy managers in need of help in the outfield for the last six weeks of the 2021 campaign should take a flyer on Conforto hoping that he can continue hitting well. Of course, expectations for high RBI totals should be held in check based on the poor Mets offense.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
