6 years agoWe’ve been teased by mini-spurts from New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto plenty of times this year, and what we’re seeing now could very well be another one – though it could also finally be the breakout we’ve been waiting for. Against the Colorado Rockies on Monday, Conforto finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored, and a walk. It marks the second time in three games Conforto has picked up multiple hits, and the fourth time in six games he’s had a base knock after enduring a long hitless stretch prior. We’re not jumping on the Conforto bandwagon again yet, but this is still great to see for now.--John Smith
