4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto hit his third home run of the season on Saturday in the Mets 8-4 win over the Miami Marlins. Conforto went 1-for-3 in the contest, with his two run home run. He is now batting .309 with three homers and eight RBI in 55 at-bats on the season. Conforto has safely reached base in all 15 games this season and all three of his homers have come off of lefties. Conforto, arguably the best hitter on the Mets so far in 2020, makes for a solid second or third outfielder in mixed league formats. Given his current hot streak and ability to crush lefties, there should be no concern that manager Luis Rojas will consider sitting Conforto against southpaws.
