Michael Conforto Showing Sides Of Improvement
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto had a solid game Wednesday night against the Miami Marlins, going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Conforto has endured a nightmare season in a contract year, but he's now had two doubles and three hits in eight at-bats over his last three games. That qualifies as improvement for the lefty, who'd gone 0-for-13 the five games before. If things don't turn around soon, he may find himself platooning in right field, not to mention costing himself millions in free agency, but for now he should still be on fantasy benches.
