Michael Conforto With Two Hits In Return
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring), who was activated from the injured list before Wednesday's contest against the Braves, went 2-for-4 with a walk, double, and two runs scored in the Mets 7-3 win. Conforto had been absent from the Mets lineup since May 16 due to a significant hamstring strain, and his return was a massive boost to a lineup that had been struggling. Prior to the injury, Conforto slashed just .230/.356/.336 with two homers, 13 RBI, and 10 runs scored over 33 games. Hopefully, Wednesday's performance is a sign of good things to come for the 28-year-old as we prepare to turn the calendar to July. Fantasy managers should have Conforto active in all formats.
