Michael Fulmer Gets Torched By Houston
6 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Michael Fulmer struggled through 4 2/3 innings on Saturday against the Astros, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and two walks while striking out two. After the game, Fulmer and catcher James McCann were critical of the small strike zone, arguing that many pitches in the zone and on the edges were called balls. Regardless of the umpiring controversy, it was an ugly outcome for fantasy purposes, and Fulmer's season record now stands at 3-9 with a 4.50 ERA.
