Michael Fulmer's Elbow Feels Good After Debut
7 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Michael Fulmer made his first appearance Monday after being sidelined with an elbow injury last season. The injury required months of therapy and rehab and Fulmer was not able to throw a baseball at all during that time. He threw 23 pitches over two innings and the only hit he allowed was a solo home run by Trey Mancini. Elbow injuries are scary and come with risk from a fantasy perspective, but Fulmer says he feels good and his sinker was working just as he expected it to. As of now, Fulmer is expected to be the Opening Day starter for Detroit, and with an ADP of 156 he could be a valuable mid-round pick for your team.
